I learned a lot about myself. I became extremely self-reliant and gained a ton of responsibility. While it's a bit cliche, you really do find yourself while your abroad. I thought I would be homesick and sad at times, but it was quite the opposite- My family had to remind me to stay in touch at times. And FRANCE- visiting France... Yes! I learned a lot about how I work when left to my own devices. I learned a lot about myself, because I was taken away from the teachers and peers I am so comfortable with. Emily A - University of Hartford View Entire Review
It was definitely worth the time and money. It gave a big idea of who I will be competing against in the art world. Wyndi D - University of Hartford View Entire Review
I learned how to be totally independent and self reliant while abroad. I experienced what it was like to be an adult and making a life for myself with all the responsibilities and tasks that came with it. Despite any of the challenges I faced while adjusting and being alone, it was definitely worthwhile and would recommend it to... A student - University of Hartford View Entire Review
Studying abroad was so worth it! I’ve heard people say they regretted not studying abroad and I didn’t want to be that person. I pushed my own limits going 4 months far from home and the people and things I know and love only to discover a second home. I gained more knowledge of things, surrounded myself with a different dynamic... Britney Diana - University of Hartford View Entire Review
I learned a lot from my tutors and peers which enriched and expanded my learning beyond my home university experience. A student - University of Hartford View Entire Review
I learned that there are people in Europe that are special enough for my to seriously consider living forever in Europe. It was the best decision that i could've made at this stage in my life. I am very sad to have to have to interact with my European friends through mediations for a long while. Kevin H - University of Hartford View Entire Review

I learned a lot about myself as an American in relation to the rest of the world and how people view us. I learned a lot about my artwork and how to take it further. I learned what it was like living in a city (I live in a rural town) and it was just a really good experience. It was definitely worthwhile. Tiffany L - University of Hartford View Entire Review
Going abroad was 100% worthwhile. I have gained a new sense of independence and an appreciation for other cultures as well as a renewed appreciation for some of the things I take for granted at home. A student - University of Hartford View Entire Review
Studying abroad changed me in more ways than I can express. I became very confident and independent while in London. I spent a lot of time exploring the city by myself, which has made me feel more prepared to go out into the real world after graduation. My entire experience abroad, and with API, was positive. The worst part ... Ellie C - Capital University View Entire Review
