"I have learned more about myself, become more independent, and made lifelong friends. There's nothing better than losing yourself in a culture and realizing that along the way you've gained so much more than you'd ever thought possible. It's not even possible to explain in words; it really is an event I believe can only be exp..."

"It was extremely worthwhile. I experienced things i could not have otherwise. My only complaint was my Australian program leader- she was extremely unhelpful and often times discouraging. Besides that my experience was a one in a lifetime. "

"My study abroad experience was unparalleled. I am more open-minded about other cultures and by the end of my experience I felt like a Florentine "local." As a history major, I was inspired by what I learned and saw. I was able to improve my Italian language skills as well. Also, the ability to travel all over Italy was wonderful..."

"Absolutely worthwhile. I am really happy I chose Denmark because it allowed me to see a part of the world that not too many people see or even think to see. It was really neat having essentially one study abroad program within Copenhagen, allowing us to have 700 kids in our program and have a unifying thing! "

"I have learned a tremendous amount about France and all of europe. My experience has exposed me to a plethora of interesting options for my future plans. "Yes it was extremely worthwhile, I would recommend people do a yearlong study abroad, of two programs and different places. Take advantage of study abroad while you are a student, because you won't be able to travel like this again. I plan on returning to Jordan after I graduate to perform research on Food Security and Water."

I am much more aware of other cultures, and have learned things about the surrounding area that I would have never learned back home. Being so much closer to New Zealand and Japan durin..."
