The Need-Based scholarship provides an invaluable opportunity for prospective SRISA students to study abroad in Florence. The scholarship is for students who demonstrate financial need or are low-income students. Includes a work-study aspect and is available during Summer A sessions.

Guidelines/Requirements:
In addition to the basic requirements founds on the Scholarship Guidelines section of srisa.org, students applying for the SRISA Needs Based Scholarship will be expected to submit a Statement of Financial Need, demonstration that study abroad would not be possible without a scholarship.

SRISA’s Diversity Scholarship Program is a part of its commitment to Generation Study Abroad ™, a five-year initiative launched by the Institute of International Education in 2014 to double the number of U.S. college students studying abroad by the end of the decade. For the purpose of this scholarship, diversity is defined as under-represented students in study abroad and includes diversity in ethnic and racial groups, first generation college students, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, military status.
