It definitely was worthwhile! I really enjoyed interacting with the locals at my internship and also living with the other students in my program. I would say I visited almost all of the major touristy spots in Paris. - University of Illinois - Chicago View Entire Review

I learned how to be more independent and that I'm capable of doing more on my own than I thought I would. I learned life lessons that I wouldn't have learned if I had not studied abroad, and it was definitely worthwhile. - Belmont University View Entire Review
So much more than I could ever write here. How to meet new people, how to be open-minded to all of the other people in the world. How to handle the everyday tasks of being adult. - Ithaca College View Entire Review

I learned way more than I could ever imagine. Not only did I learn the language, culture, and history of France and more specifically Paris, but I learned what I want for myself now. I went to Paris as a senior and didn't have too much direction, but I know now what I expect from my future job, the people who I'll be wanting to ... - Texas A&M University - College Station View Entire Review

Living abroad with strangers/roommates in a foreign country helped me grow as a professional, as a student, and as an individual because I am even more open to new experiences and am not afraid to explore and be out of my comfort zone. - University of Utah View Entire Review
An international education is the most valuable part of a college experience, in my opinion. I am humbled to have had such an incredible experience abroad. The knowledge of the world and its people, the ways in which my patterns of thinking have changed, and my outlook on culture and society outside of the United States are all ... - Quinnipiac University View Entire Review
Why Not To Pick the Program and if you do here is some advice Hello, prospecting study abroad Victims of CEA First of all try and go directly to the school you want to attend it is a-lot cheaper and the city is not at all hard to navigate alone, this program is basically excessively over priced. It was so worthwhile and I wish I could go back. I miss it everyday. - Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University View Entire Review
I really learned a lot about myself while abroad. I became more wise about where I was spending my money. I became more self reliant and independent. And I became a more well rounded student with a huge new found respect for different cultures. - University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee View Entire Review

Besides the language component I think I have become a very independent person. Living in a foreign city without any friends takes you out of your comfort zone and makes you grow up pretty fast. Once I accepted that, I made friends easily and accepted the culture with open arms. - Northern Illinois University View Entire Review
The biggest thing I gained while studying abroad was a sense of independence. I feel more comfortable running errands or eating by myself. I am confident that I would be able to go to a foreign city and navigate its public transport system. - Hofstra University View Entire Review
I gained a great understanding of Parisian culture and history. There is no way to completely learn another`s culture until you have completely immersed yourself in it. I learned the importance of being independent, and of course how to function outside of your comfort zone. - Hofstra University View Entire Review
This question cannot be answered in a fill in the blank box online, but I will attempt. I learned about relating to different cultures, and just different people and things in general. I learned to broaden my mind. I learned to get outside my comfort zone. I learned to try new things. I learned to not be afraid of failure. I lea... - Belmont University View Entire Review

What I learned about most was myself. Being put in an environment so different than the one i'm used to really put me in a place where I was allowed to grow and develop myself and my identity.
