I COULD PRACTICE SPANISH WITH OTHER STUDENTS WHO LIVED IN MY DORM. I NEEDED TO USE THE LANGUAGE ON A DAILY BASIS FOR INTERACTIONS WITH ANY LOCALS. THE CITY I WAS IN WAS A SMALLER CITY SO A SMALL AMOUNT OF PEOPLE KNEW ENOUGH ENGLISH TO HOLD A CONVERSATION, THEREFORE IT PUSHED ME TO USE MY SPANISH MORE, WHICH I WAS GLAD I GOT TO PRACTICE SO MUCH. |
