"It was definitely worthwhile and one of the best decisions I've made. I've gained a much greater sense of who I am, how independent I can be and how much I can accomplish and overcome on my own. Going abroad is such a liberating experience. It has allowed me to look back on my time and realize that I was able to manuever my ..."

"My study abroad experience was beyond worthwhile. I had the opportunity to live in another country for five months, learn a new culture, take classes, meet new people and travel. It enriched my college experience tremendously allowing me to work with students from other cultures and take in how other places in the world approach..."

"Worthwhile. Difficult and trying but definitely an incredible learning experience. It wasn't what I expected at all but I don't regret it in the least. It made me a stronger person, more independent and self-reliant. However, I did feel that it was lacking something -- that sense of adventure, because a lot of other things (scho..."

"Everything about study abroad was worthwhile, even the things that didn't go so well. You're on a whole new learning curve and you adjust quickly and you have a blast while you're seeing the world and meeting new people. There is nothing negative I can really say about it. Even the cost, even though it's a worry, doesn't come c..."

"It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. As far back as middle school, I knew I wanted to study abroad in college. As the time approached, I was hesitant because I was nervous to leave home and live in a completely different county and continent that speaks a different language. I knew that if I didn't take this opportun..."

"Studying abroad was the best academic decision I've ever made in my life. For the first time I can remember I did not care about how many A's I was getting. "I loved Prague and I loved my program. I just feel that I would have chosen the much less expensive one and spent the money that I saved on traveling more. It has been an invaluable experience seeing so much of Europe, and it has solidified my belief that I want to live abroad when I graduate."

"I learned a lot about myself and who I am as a person. I had a lot of time to reflect and think about my future goals while I was here. Being here made me appreciate all the things I take for granted at home and in America in general. "

"It was extremely worthwhile. Not only do you learn about Europe and what is outside of American walls but you also learn about yourself. You are forced to adapt and it can be very rewarding. It allows you to see the world from a different perspective. "

"I loved every minute of my study abroad experience. There were times when I was homesick, but that happened to everyone. I have become more confident in myself and independent.
