Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The classes were mostly lectures and very dry. I was disappointed in the academics

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived on a floor with American's but we all had Chinese roommates <br /><br /> The housing was not up to standards in the United States

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

the trips and activities the program organized were great.

I felt very safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? everything in China is very inexpensive but it does add up

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It can be difficult at time but it is an incredible experience. I was disappointed with the academics but the country is incredible. It is a great place to study abroad
