henry.miles1 Middlebury College
"How to be a more critical reader, how to be a better academic writer, how to budget my limited time with nearly unlimited schoolwork and athletics. It was absolutely worthwhile."
A student Middlebury College
"I became much more independent and learned how to fully take care of myself. I learned a lot of hiking and camping skills. I learned a lot about wildlife and where my interests lie in biology. "
A student Middlebury College
"Very worthwhile. Learned a lot about how other cultures live, and also how they view the United States and Americans in general. "
A student Middlebury College

"A new perspective on global issues. There was nothing like being in Western Europe during the Paris attack."
Theodora B Middlebury College
"I think it was definitely worthwhile. I really enjoyed experiencing a new culture and a new education system. I especially appreciated being able to travel frequently and see alot of Europe as well. "
A student Middlebury College
"Absolutely. It was incredibly challenging and I was in over my head. I went to the largest city in Europe, where I speak zero of the language entirely alone without any sort of program. In retrospect, it was arrogant and stupid to do it that way and paralyzed me in the beginning. I had done the same in Argentina a few years back..."
A student Middlebury College
"I learned about independence, Danish culture and the joy of riding a bike."
A student Middlebury College
"Gained incredible knowledge in econ / international history. Had the opportunity to explore a hip, international city in London and travel all across Europe. "

Esme V Middlebury College
"I learned how to live in a true city and amongst a people that while similar to Americans are different in important ways. I will always appreciate the experience and the opportunity to live in London."
A student Middlebury College
"Incredible to be in London, truly electric city. Structure of program was odd, as international students are graded while LSE students are not. Final exam schedule becomes very messy with US internships. Very appealing if interest in staying long-term in London."
A student Middlebury College
"I feel rewarded by the challenges of living independently and immersing myself in a foreign culture. Copenhagen is a unique and beautiful place, and its people are culture are equally so. I will forever remember my home in Cope and the incredible things I learned there. "
A student Middlebury College
"Learned how to be humble and blend in to a host country while engaging and keeping an open mind to make the most of each day. "
Alexander M Middlebury College
"I took some time to travel and I learned a lot about history and culture in addition to the language skills I gained. It was completely worthwhile"
A student Middlebury College
"I definitely learned a lot more about myself. I learned more about what I need to do to stay happy. I also came to appreciate my home and Middlebury a lot more, while also seeing some of the flaws of home. It was definitely, without a doubt worthwhile."
A student Middlebury College
"New friends. Great recipes. A look at religious harmony in practice. "
Marium S Middlebury College
"It was definitely worthwhile. It took me out of my comfort zone but I met some really great people and I learned how to live on my own and budget my money. I don't regret it one bit."
A student Middlebury College
"People are wonderful and mystical, and when you find your friends--- your *real* friends--- it's all worth it. "
Thomas S Middlebury College
"I learned more math in one semester than I had in my previous 2 years in college. It was a lot of work but in the end, it was definitely worth it."
A student Middlebury College
"I learned a lot about myself and what I can achieve. It was very worthwhile. Moreover, for the first time I realized the consequences of our first world decisions. "
A student Middlebury College
"Leadership skills and group dynamics. Incredibly worthwhile"
A student Middlebury College
"I gained more self-confidence in my ability to be independent. I gained a sense of what life post-college will be like in terms of preparing mills and scheduling myself, etc. I learned that everyone's experiences are necessarily different because of things like money or resources, but that everyone can still get a lot out of the..."
