CIEE is a program provider offering 415 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad, Internship, Intensive Language, Gap Year, and Online Program abroad programs in 32 countries such as France, Japan, Ireland, and Czech Republic.
CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations by sponsoring a wide variety of opportunities for the exchange of ideas and experiences. CIEE helps people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world, and contributes to a more peaceful global community by humanizing international relations.
CIEE partners with overseas universities to provide direct matriculation options, creates CIEE courses to add to the offerings, and staffs each Study Center with CIEE-employed Resident Staff who provide co-curricular activities and around-the-clock student services. We offer quality academics with opportunities for cultural engagement such as excursions, homestays, volunteer opportunities, and internships to provide the highest quality study abroad experiences.

"Yes, overall it was a good experience. Although I was not completely satisfied with the living situation or the interaction with local students, I still learned a lot and improved my Spanish. "
Hilary W Indiana University - Bloomington
"My experience abroad was life changing. I recommend it to anyone who wants to gain international experience or even someone who wants to learn more about yourself. I understand more about what I can handle, how to make independent decisions, and how to interact successfully with people from another culture. It was eye-opening an..."

"I saw great and new aspects of family life and a social norm unlike the typical suburban culture found in america. I have always loved to travel and I admit studying abroad was a great excuse for me to visit over 7 new countries and locations. "It was worthwhile because I learned so much about the world, and it opened my eyes to the issues that face every country, and every city all over the world. Paris is not exempt from cultural tension and racism, and this dichotomy between the immigrants and the Parisians can be overwhelming. I certainly learned a lot, and, in fac..."

"This program changed my life. it sounds cliche, but I am not the same girl who initially boarded the plane to Japan. It brought new life to my textbooks and language lessons, and made me far more confident in my language skills. It was worth every penny, every stress-filed night, and every road-bump along the way. "This was the greatest experience of my life. I learned so much about their culture as was welcomed into their own culture with open arms. "I am much more culturally sensitive. And I now hate airplanes. BUT I'm glad I did it and I'm very happy with CIEE. I wish I had a better time with advising for abroad.
