Can't decide between studying abroad for a semester or a full-time internship abroad? How about a program that combines both? API now offers our new Study and Internship program into a semester - perfect for a student looking to gain professional experience abroad while getting the true study abroad experience! Choose Dublin and be in the bustling center of Ireland, filled with rich culture and home to some of the largest international headquarters of Fortune 500 companies.
This program will begin with two, five-week intensive academic courses taught by faculty onsite. Following the intensive courses, the students will participate in a 7-week full time internship placement. Students complete each component consecutively, which will allow students dedicated time to focus on the academic courses and internship separately, providing a better balance between study and professional development. Some three-day weekends have been built into the program, leaving plenty of time for exploring the rich local culture of the host site. Students will earn a total of 12 credit hours (2 academic courses for 3 credits each, and 6 credits for their internship coursework).
