Rachel B Clark University
"This experience is something I will remember forever, and I would never take it back for anything. It was so incredible, that I feel there are no words that I could place on the experience that would justify how wonderful it was. I feel so much more culturally aware and appreciative and the semester in Spain helped me determine ..."

"The immersion, hands down. Classes were great and they definitely supported us in our field assignments, but the time we spent in our communities was invaluable. I don't know of many other programs where cultural immersion as academically and socially crucial as it was for us. We were and will always be outsiders in the Dominica..."

"YES. I plan on going back to Namibia as soon as I can. It was the most beneficial and amazing experience of my life and I miss it every day. I made great friends there that became my family, both Namibian and American, and cherish this experience and how it has impacted my life and future plans."

"I had a different experience than other students because I went there already fluent in Japanese, so it was more learning how to function by myself than refining/learning a new language. Studying at Kansai Gaidai made me want to go back to Japan to teach English."

"My experience in the Turks and Caicos was amazing. I loved having the opportunity to live in and learn about the island and the country as a whole. There are so many things about it that you could only learn by experiencing yourself."

"My experienced abroad definitely changed my future plans. Prior to Namibia I though that by studying international development I can enter into the profession I want, however, while having my internship in Namibia I realized that economics is much more useful. That realization has made me do double major in both econ and ID, ins..."

"I learned a lot about who I am - that I am brave and willing to take risks - in ways I was unable to comprehend before. I also gained so much valuable insight about what it really means to live in a global world, to be an American, and to exist in a culture with different values."
