It was absolutely amazing

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Workload was pretty big, but not in sense of the readings, but because of the intensity of the class meetings. We had over a 100 speakers during the Semester, which provided us with lots of information to analyze.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was great, but I wish the stuff provided a better way for the students of the program to interact with each other.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Food was Okay. I do not have any dietary restrictions.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

All are study abroad experience to Cyprus Turkey and Greece was comprised of field trips. For example, in Istanbul we visited Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The campus was very safe. Well, D.C. is not very safe but elementary safety measures should apply.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I would advise students to pick the Peace and Conflict Resolution class, because that program just opened my eyes on the different ways I can get involved after I graduate. The travel component to Turkey, Cyprus and Greece was amazing, because besides being very educational in cultural terms, it was also a great academic experience, because we have met with the politicians and other people who are involved in the Cyprus conflict.
