What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I LOVED every minute of it....i suggest going abroad to everyone...i wish i had spent a year there! I met tons of wonderful people. lived with people from all over the world, and was 100 percent immersed in the culture (granted it wasn't drastically different, but different enough)

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

School was a lot more relaxed, a lot less work and a lot of free time, the professors weren't that great but it was a nice break from the usual mountain of school work and allowed for more travel time!

we had a kitchen and went shopping and cooked for ourselves, which i preferred but there were also on campus cafes and places to eat

got to travel a ton, met lots of wonderful people from all over the world
