CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations by sponsoring a wide variety of opportunities for the exchange of ideas and experiences. CIEE partners with overseas universities to provide direct matriculation options, creates CIEE courses to add to the offerings, and staffs each Study Center with CIEE-employed Resident Staff who provide co-curricular activities and around-the-clock student services. We offer quality academics with opportunities for cultural engagement such as excursions, homestays, volunteer opportunities, and internships to provide the highest quality study abroad experiences.

"I learned a lot about myself. I was challenged in every way possible and found myself in situations that required me to make smart choices. Don't trust everyone and don't get comfortable with the city life, by that I mean be street smart."

"Basically I gained a new respect for Europe outside of the West. It was my first trip east of Germany and the horror stories of the Cold War past were mostly malarkey. "This program made coming back to America harder than I ever thought it would. It's not if I do or don't regret going, it's if I do or don't regret coming back! I loved my time in Morocco, and it has helped me feel more comfortable with the fact that I don't have the rest of my life planned out to the day. "
Samantha B University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth
"Yes, this experience demonstrated to me my ability to handle changes and things that I need to adapt to quickly. This didn't change my future plans so much as confirm them.
