My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile. Costa Rica definitely lives up to its catch phrase "pura vida" or pure life. There is so much wildlife and nature around you, and learning the ecological and biological details makes it so much more intersting. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned to be open, to go travel, love unconditionally, and learned that money doesn't make you happy in the end. This was the best decision I have ever made. Chris W - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review

My study abroad program helped me realize what I care about and what kind of person I want to be. I met incredible people and had incredible experiences. I would not be where I am right now if I did not do this program. Heather B - Tufts University View Entire Review

I gained a lot of confidence in my own abilities and I learned a lot about myself and how far I can push my limits. I learned so much just by being in a different environment, immersed in a different culture and exploring various ecosystems. It was one of the best decisions I've made. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned plenty of conservation issues, I am more conscious about my surroundings. I am grateful for hot water and AC. Very worthwhile. A student - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I developed a deeper love of ecology/science/nature, improved my Spanish, learned what it was like to live in a developing country, and made some great friends. More than anything else, it has made me consider going into an environmental field. Patrick D - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned so much about tropical ecology and conservation. I enjoyed living in a Latin American country and discovered that I wouldn't mind living in a place like that for an extended period of time. Nicholas S - Tufts University View Entire Review
