Overall Experience
I learned a lot about the difference in culture even though there was no significant language barrier. It was really eye opening to immerse myself into the culture through my internship and studies. - Providence College View Entire Review
It was absolutely worth while. I learned that I want to work in the UK if ever I'm given the opportunity. I also learned a lot within the department of finance through my internship. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Definitely worthwhile. I feel like I have seen the world from a whole new pair of eyes. Very inspiring and educating. - The Catholic University of America View Entire Review
I definitely gained more independence. The combination of a fairly hands-off program with the long commute to work and a constant eye on the budget made for a very grown-up experience. I kind of feel like I've graduated already now that I'm so used to city livin' - Providence College View Entire Review
Extremely. Although I had many complaints about the program that I chose (not the internship aspect, but Arcadia), I got out of the trip exactly what I wanted to. Sometimes you have to move passed the inconveniences and make the trip what you want it to be. - Austin College View Entire Review
Being obsessed with advertising, working in marketing in a different country was astounding. The insight I was able to gain into my passion was unbelievable and I believe that I am a different person for it. - Providence College View Entire Review
Definitely worthwhile, if only because I had to deal with awful staff. But the four days a week I didn't have to deal with Arcadia were always fantastic. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I would have picked a different program, but at the same time, I am very glad that I studied abroad. Even if I didn't gain as much as I wanted out of Arcadia, I learned a lot about myself, and that made the experience worthwhile. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I sought work experience, and I got it. As a bonus, I enjoyed what I did and the people I worked with. Participating in this program made me consider working and/or going to graduate school in the UK. I had never considered the idea of grad school in a foreign country before. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Past Review
I gained more from the experience than I can put into words. Before I left, I talked to friends who studied abroad and all they could say were positive things. I am in a very similar situation. All I can say about studying abroad is: go, do it, I have never met anyone who regretted their experience. - Providence College View Entire Review

I gained confidence in myself. If I can find my way through the busy streets of London, I can do anything! - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Past Review Parliament!
Good friends (even if mostly American), great experiences in a great city, and a fantastic job reference. It was absolutely a worthwhile experience. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned a lot about a culture I had no knowledge on. I learned independence and confidence. I am more comfortable with doing things by myself now. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Regardless of how I felt about my study abroad program, the experience was without a doubt worthwhile. These have been the best and most exciting four months of my life. Taking a step outside of the United States really makes you put everything into perspective and you realize how much is really out there to see and explore. ... - Providence College View Entire Review

Internship was worthwhile. Living in a different country awesome. School, was fine. - Austin College View Entire Review

I loved my study abroad experience. Made friends and felt like I was an independent adult in a city for the first time. - Tufts University View Entire Review
Yes. My decision to study abroad was one of the best decisions of my life. Working in Parliament gave me a behind the scenes look to the inner workings of UK government. I recommend this program to anyone interested in politics. I gained an invaluable insight into being part of the work force. - Providence College View Entire Review
