Going abroad was still an amazing experience and I was able to make so many memories and experience so many new things. It was definitely worthwhile in my opinion even though I had faced a few obstacles while there. I lived on my own for the first time and learned a lot from that experience. l0nd0nl0v3r - Brandeis University View Entire Review
100% worthwhile. I learned so much about English culture, how to enjoy life in the moment, loving being alone, the ability to make friends with different backgrounds and cultures, the excitement from spontaneous travel A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
The experience was absolutely worthwhile. It was my second time studying abroad in London and I would move there in a heartbeat. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
It was worthwhile. I learned I'm a lot extraverted than I thought and that I prefer to have roommates than to live alone. I always knew that I tend to thrive in big cities but that was just an assumption, this experience solidified that for myself. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Going abroad was probably one of the best decisions that I have made and it was certainly worthwhile. When choosing to study abroad, I was terrified at first. I had decided that I was going to study in London and didn't know anyone else in my program. It was scary to pack up and do something completely new and different. But, I ... I have a perspective of what it's like to live in another country with a different political system, university system, climate, environment, culture, etc. I think Americans think of the UK as being very similar to us. There are a lot of things we share: a language, certain aspects of pop culture. Our music, movies, are heavily ... Kevin Costa - Brandeis University View Entire Review

I got to visit 7 different European countries while abroad, and each trip was incredibly fun and eye-opening. The views were beautiful, and I even got to use my French skills when I traveled to France to talk to the locals. I also got to make strong friendships through Queen Mary A Cappella, and I have a lot of great memories fr... A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself and living in a city environment. I also learned how to deal with mental/emotional hardships, meet new people, and manage homesickness and loneliness. Karina W - Brandeis University View Entire Review
This was an amazing experience that gave me greater insight into the differences and similarities of people and cultures in a wide variety of countries. It was fun to talk to people in different countries and hear their views on America and Americans. I was not expecting people to be as friendly as they were and as eager to talk... My entire semester was really fun and spontaneous. I visited 9 countries during my semester abroad. It's so cheap and easy to visit all the European countries (mostly). I made some great friends in London and it's definitely an experience of a lifetime. It makes me want to travel more and explore our beautiful world. My time abroad was worthwhile. I just wish I did it at a different institution, or in a different country. I learned to teach myself a subject with little support from professors, and through my internship I learned a lot of research skills that will be really helpful in finding internships and jobs in the future. Also, being... A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
