"I learned how to manage my time in order to read a couple of books, make an outline, and write an essay within a week, and how to navigate the library systems and their individual opening hours in order to maximize my time. I also quickly learned that I needed to deliberately make time for friends and reach out to them, in order..."
Tiffani Ren Wellesley College
"Making personal connections here was the most valuable part of my experience. The program was more academic in nature, but being able to make friends was the best part of it. "I loved being centrally located in London. The city itself is just so amazing with so many things to do and see! I had so much fun exploring the city around me. I had a great time at UCL. I liked my coursework in EU Politics and IPE, which I didn't have back at my home institution. "

"Both my ability and confidence in speaking and understanding spoken French improved dramatically. However, because many courses in France had little work during the semester (and then big papers or exams at the end) I got much less practice reading and especially writing than I did taking French classes in the US. "I learned so much about how different life is in Europe from fashion trends to just like the pace. I don't know if it was because I felt like I was on vacation, but there was just less pressure and stress. Everything I did felt very much about being in the moment and just enjoying it. "
