January 30, 2024 A Semester In Geneva!
I learned so much and got to study in courses I never would have been able to take in undergraduate in the US -- such as sustainable finance and impact investing. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was worthwhile. I spent a lot of time alone during my time in Geneva which was incredibly important for learning about myself and finding more security in myself. My classes were also informative but I think I learned the most about how to live on my own. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned how to become independent and about international organizations which was very interesting! - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Although I experienced a lot of inconveniences in Geneva, from the housing administration to the Cantonal Population and Migration Office, the program gave me exposure to international organizations and development studies, which I otherwise would not have received. I also learned how to live independently. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

I learned how to live on my own, take care of my own administrative tasks, and find fun things to do while being pretty alone most of the time. I did get an internship in international affairs in Europe for the summer, partially because the organization I applied to was familiar with IHEID. So that was a big plus.
