"Definitely worth while. It explained parts of the culture I could never understand without having been there, and gave me more confidence than before, and was just very fun. "

"I don't know if I can fully answer the above question yet, since I haven't been back for very long. I think the effects will continue showing up for months and maybe years afterwards. The changes are big and overwhelmingly positive. I am now abroad for a second time in Europe, and so far I think that my experience in Senegal was..."

"It was the most worthwhile experience of my College career. I understand myself in more ways than I did before, both positive and negative aspects, but I have found a sort of inner peace from all of the traveling that I've done. I feel more at ease with myself."

"I can learn to do things like longboard, rock climb, hitch hike, yoga---whatever. It's easy to become bogged down in who you think you are, but you're never truly stuck--you can always shake it up."

"Academically, the tutorial system was challenging yet in every way rigorous and enriching, given that I devoted quite a large percentage of my time during school terms. "It was certainly worthwhile, in addition to learning a lot about Cuban culture, I learned so much about myself and what it means to be a foreigner in another land. "It was an amazing experience in Cuba, however personally I would have preferred not being with other American students. I enjoy being in place alone more than with a giant group. However, Cuba was an amazing place to live in, full of amazing people and experiences, and ultimately gave me a lot of perspective on both Cuban cultur..."
