Our community engagement programs, formally known as service-learning, provide a unique opportunity to learn from community leaders, experts and changemakers serving their own communities. Our guided, reflection-based curriculum will help you think critically about community development and civic engagement in a local and global context. Through our diverse program offerings and global network of over 100 community partner organizations, you get decide where and when your global learning experience will begin.

WorldStrides Scholarships

GO (Global Opportunity) Full-Ride Scholarship

WorldStrides will award one scholarship per semester to a student participating on a WorldStrides program for the full list price of the program. There is no separate application for the GO Full-Ride Scholarship. All applicants who apply by the deadline above and meet the eligibility requirements for one of the other WorldStrides scholarships will be considered. The GO (Global Opportunity) Full-Ride Scholarship is designed to give a standout student the opportunity to go abroad. The scholarship can be used for any WorldStrides program and covers tuition, program fees, and orientation (up to $15,000 value).

Summer: February 28th Fall: April 30 Winter/Spring: October 30th

• Be accepted to a WorldStrides study abroad, internship, or community engagement program. • Have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA. • Have completed at least one year of college level foreign language or the equivalent. Courses must appear on official transcript. • Be enrolled in second or third year of undergraduate education at a U.S. university/college at time of program participation. • Be on financial aid. FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) and home university Award Letter/form required. **Please refer to the ISA scholarship page for more information on guidelines/requirements.

WorldStrides Impact Scholarship

We believe in expanding access and increasing opportunities for individuals from various backgrounds to become global learners by reducing financial barriers. This scholarship is intended for summer and semester students looking to create an impact on the world around them, bringing their own personal perspectives to an international experience.

2 x $1,000 for Summer Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Fall Programs; 3 x $2,000 for Winter/Spring Programs
