Overall Experience
My cultural awareness was already pretty high, and it didn't influence any future plans, but I had fun. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
My study abroad experience was definitely worthwhile because of all the support I received from my program. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
While I did not necessarily enjoy all of my time abroad, I learned an incredible amount about myself and others and was provided with opportunities that I may never have again. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Past Review Wellesley In Aix
I am happy that I studied abroad because I learned a lot about the culture and myself. I feel like I now understand what it feels like to be out of your element and trying to figure everything out. I also feel like I have a better grasp on what multicultural really means. I would recommend study abroad for anyone who wants to... - Wellesley College View Entire Review

Yes, I felt it was a really wonderful opportunity to live in a different culture and lifestyle for a year. It allowed me to carefully think about my future plans, away from the pressure-cooker that Wellesley can be at times. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

Though there were slight challenges, I still believe that my study abroad was completely worthwhile and I do not regret a thing. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Past Review
I think it was worthwhile, but it could've been a lot better. It is definitely what you make of it, but at times I was so bored in Aix with my classes and just day-to-day life. I very much enjoyed being busy and traveling. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Yes! Travelling was a dream! I really learned about living with other people, too. Having a roommate in your own apartment and living in your own apartment is really not the same as a dorm. I think I really learned the responsibilities of real life. Culturally, travelling really opened my world, and I loved it! - Wellesley College View Entire Review

Yes, studying abroad was definitely a worthwhile experience and even a year later I look back on my experiences very positively and feel like what I learned about myself and others there still benefits me today. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I'm really glad I studied abroad but the experience at a French university had made my academic expectations clearer to me. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was wonderful. I became fluent in my foreign language, I saw interesting things and met interesting things and fully ENJOYED life. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Past Review Aix Cellent!
It was definitely worthwhile. I accomplished all my goals. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

I had a fantastic experience abroad, it was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. I had always wanted to go abroad to France, eat french food, make friends from the areas, study there....just be a part of a culture unlike my own. I thought it would be an incredible personal challenge and experience, and I was right. France ... - Wellesley College View Entire Review

Yes. French culture taught me to enjoy life instead of just tolerating or surviving it, to see it as an art instead of a task to complete. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

It was. I learned a lot about myself, most of which are things about myself that I'm not willing to share. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

I gained so much from the program. Great improvement in French, experience traveling alone, experience in practical things like living on my own, etc. I think I am now much more independent. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
