CISabroad / Center for International Studies Scholarships
This award is intended for students within the LGBTQIA+ community. Recipients will work in coordination with the CISabroad Marketing Team to develop a plan for sharing their story while abroad. Options may include photos, instagram takeover, videos, or a blog. Recipients will be expected to submit 5 - 10 pieces.
This scholarship is intended for students who are among the first from their U.S. university to go abroad on any CISabroad program. Recipients will work in coordination with the CISabroad Marketing Team to develop a plan for sharing their story while abroad. Options may include photos, instagram takeover, videos, or a blog. Recipients will be expected to submit 5 - 10 pieces.
Are you already #InstaFamous? Take it to the next level. Recipients will be required to take part in an Instagram takeover as well as provide content for other CISabroad Social platforms. Examples of content include, 20 high quality photos, and a short video about your experience.
There is no GPA requirement for these scholarships. Interested students should complete all scholarship application requirements and be sure to tell us why you want to be a CISabroad Photojournalist. Recipients will be required to maintain an online photo wordpress blog with at least 100 photos by the end of their program.
$100 towards a semester or summer program plus a $100 Amazon gift card to purchase a digital camera.
This award is intended for under-served students within the education abroad population. Possible considerations include, STEM majors, first generation college students, multicultural backgrounds, and many more. Recipients will work in coordination with the CISabroad Marketing Team to develop a plan for sharing their story while abroad. Options may include photos, instagram takeover, videos, or a blog. Recipients will be expected to submit 5 - 10 pieces.
There is no GPA requirement for these scholarships. Interested students should complete all scholarship application requirements and be sure to tell us why you want to be a CISabroad Videojournalist. Recipients will be required to maintain an online video wordpress blog with at least 1 video by the end of their program.
$100 towards a semester or summer program plus a $100 Amazon gift card to purchase a digital camera.
This award is intended for students who are interested in or have an academic focus in conservation, community development, or sustainability. Recipients will arrange and participate in at least two volunteer opportunities while overseas and make a presentation, video, blog, or vlog on their experience upon returning home.
This award is given to students who are ready to dive deep and tell their story to the world! While abroad, recipients will learn to blog or vlog like a pro using either Wordpress or YouTube. When you return students will work in coordination with the CISabroad Marketing Team to develop a project that will be completed upon return of your overseas experience.
