Overall Experience
I gained a broad understanding of all the body systems of the horse, and learned a lot about getting a horse fit. Both courses had hands on components, making it very worthwhile. All of the school horses have the biggest personalities, and it was a joy getting to know them all. - University of Kentucky View Entire Review

About

Equine studies and rural Scotland seem to go hand-to-hand so naturally. There's no better place to immerse yourself in than British style equestrianism at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre while learning about Equine Anatomy and Physiology and Equine Fitness in the classroom. This is exactly what Adelante's program has to offer.

Our participants get the ability to work with the horses and learn hands-on experience in the field through our equestrian study abroad program. Upon completion of the program, you can take 6 semester units home along with a lifetime of memories.

Excursions are also included in the program. Examples of past trips include; Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, the Highland Games and more! To see a more details of what this program offers, head to Adelante's site!
