What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned about equine fitness and anatomy, and about the history and culture of Scotland. It was definitely worthwhile.

Not the most rigorous but the teachers were extremely nice and helpful

All staff was super nice and helpful

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The beds were not the most comfortable, but the rooms and bathrooms were cleaned every day and the bedsheets and towels were cleaned weekly

* Food:

It takes some getting used to, lots of potatoes. There was a good variety of food, there were multiple options and different foods every day.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Never had any health problems

Always felt safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

It was extremely well organized and all the staff at Oatridge College are so nice. I not only got credit for two courses but got to ride horses multiple days per week and had the opportunity to explore Edinburgh and see many sites in Scotland.

Only really spent money on souvenirs and food while out

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have known we had the opportunity to go to the store weekly to get anything we needed, I definitely would not have packed as much because I could have bought it here. I also wish I had known the weather can get really cold, I did not bring enough warm clothes.
