"I leaned about myself as a person what it is that I really enjoy and a stronger sense of independence. I wouldn't change my experience at all."
Liliana Mayorga Wellesley College
"I learned how to live more independently, how to navigate a city on my own, and how to balance work with an active social life. I was able to travel all over Europe and to learn so much about art, theater, and history just by exploring London. I am glad that I chose the LSE program as I was still able to participate in a rigorou..."

"Lots of language progress. But also lots of fun. Also completed a capstone project, and LOTS of travel around China (my favorite part of the whole experience)."

"Attending the University of Cambridge as a study abroad student was an extremely fulfilling experience. I was able to take courses that I would not otherwise have been able to at Wellesley College due to the difference in size of both institutions. "

Emily Wellesley College
"My language skills improved quite a bit, and I learned so much while living in a country so contrary to the US, and different in mind and spirit from the West and the particular way of living and thinking that I have been used to. It was absolutely worthwhile to finally gain some first-hand insight on the way in which the world ..."
Michelle Hanssen Wellesley College
"I learned to be far more independent than before -- I was living on my own with other UCL students as flatmates, cooking for myself, figuring out everything... And meeting so many new people from all over the world really helped me develop a global perspective. Some of my classes were really interesting and helped pique new inte..."

"I learned to navigate one of the largest cities in the world! TFL is very comprehensive but still, i'm proud. This year taught me a lot about independence and adulthood and i'm grateful for that."

"My experiences abroad cannot be sufficiently summarized in just a few paragraphs, but I'll do my best to share the highlights. Edinburgh is such a unique place and is at a pivotal moment politically (with the September 18th Scottish independence referendum coming up). As an American abroad in the UK, I thoroughly enjoyed my time..."
Leigh P Wellesley College
"I became much more independent, more flexible, more street smart, more mature, and more culturally knowledgeable. I hadn't been able to travel much before this semester, but had always wanted to, and by being in a major global metropolis central to Europe, I had the opportunity to see a lot of beautiful and amazing places on a ..."

A student Wellesley College
"I learned how to be comfortable in speaking Korean. I always had trouble getting into a full conversation when I learned back home. I knew what the person was saying, but I always felt like my response needed to be perfect and so I got into the habit of planning what I was gonna say. While in my time here in South Korea, it's he..."

"I climbed to the top of the ship in the middle of beautiful tropical bay. I lived through a hurricane. I was the Junior Watch Officer on a ship in the middle of major squall. I got a ship from point A to a 1km circle in the middle of night and saw a giant asteroid go past. The ocean is amazing. "
A student Wellesley College
"I learned how to truly student independently (i.e., without office hours, student tutors, tons of unstructured time) and take advantage of an institution's resources. "
