Trinity University
University Information
The Study Abroad program at Trinity University is designed to be accessible and flexible. With proper planning, students from every major can study abroad productively in many different countries around the world as a part of their degree.
This is possible because Trinity's program is based on individually advising each student so that the term abroad becomes an integral part of the degree that meets academic, personal, and professional goals. As a result Trinity students participate in a wide variety of academic experiences abroad from studying in a foreign university classroom to academic internships to intensive language study to field studies - or a some combination of these things.

"Yes! I realized how the United States is viewed by other countries. Also it made me want to travel a lot more."
Frances M Trinity University
"I loved my study abroad experience! If I did it again I would not do my same program because I would want one that is more language intensive. I learned how to travel and use public transportation. I learned a new sense of independence and a better knowledge of the world around me."
Leslie B Trinity University
"It was absolutely worthwhile! Mostly because I not only learned more about the world and different cultures but also more about myself and where I fit into the big picture."
Graceanne S Trinity University
"I learned a lot about other cultures, I know that sounds like kind of a generic answer but it is the biggest thing that I learned. I pretty much avoided other Americans for this purpose and it was quite successful. I also was able to learn what people from other cultures think about the US and Texas, while hopefully dispelling s..."

"Absolutely worthwhile. I learned quite a bit about Hungary itself, the history and current state of the EU, and a bit of Hungarian language. From the experience, I learned a lot about myself and what I desire out my life experiences. I gained so much from all the people I met, every week I would end up meeting and speaking with ..."
Noah V Trinity University
"I learned that other countries aren't just places to be visited and explored, but that other cultures can be integrated into my personal experience and become a part of who I am. Traveling doesn't just provide voyeuristic opportunities, or chances for vacation; it opens up the possibility of living in different places and in dif..."

"I gained a huge amount of confidence in myself from this experience. It was totally worth it, even despite some pitfalls, like somewhat iffy communication or not so great roommate experiences. This experience was only partly formed by what the program had to offer. Honestly, it was formed mostly by what I chose to make out of th..."
