"I gained incredible friends, amazing academic experience, and an appreciation for the beautiful city of Copenhagen. It was incredibly worthwhile, I would do anything to do it again. "
Amanda Bozorgi Middlebury College
"It was so worthwhile. I became a much better writer, editor, and scholar with all of the one-on-one attention of the tutorial system and peer editing, and the independent-learning way of Oxford. I loved how free I was to make up my own schedule for learning - going to whatever lectures I wanted to (I went to LOTS just because th..."

"My writing, editing, and research skills improved immensely. I can now skim through several books, identify important arguments and thoughts, and compose a 7-8 page paper in one week. I made new friends, played frisbee, talked to people with different views than my own, and made connections for life. "

"I made some pretty amazing friends and saw places I’ve always wanted to go. In all honesty, Prague is a great place to study abroad because you can live cheaply during the week, enjoy your classes, and then travel anywhere for very cheap on the weekends. "

"I gained a lot of experience just simply living in a city. I had never lived in a city or in an apartment on my own/with students my age so cooking, navigating, being safe was all a new and great experience. Also, traveling on my own and so often was also a great life experience. "
Molly Freeman Middlebury College
"I made a lot of American friends from other colleges that I still hang out with. I also learned how to write an 8 page essay in 3 hours which I think will help me going into senior year. I learned to work and study material at a new level and became a much stronger writer. I also had the opportunity to travel around other countr..."

"My experience abroad was worthwhile because I had other friends in my program and in Europe and because I learned a great deal about myself and what I want for my future, but not because of the university i was studying at or the academic courses I was taking. "
A student Middlebury College
"It was a challenging experience in pretty much all aspects, but most definitely worthwhile! Not only did I learn more of the language, I also learned more about life in France and living in a different country in general.
