"Yes! I had a fantastic time learning how to be an adult and live completely on my own. I feel that I have experienced a tremendous amount of self-growth and would not change my experience for anything (even if I wouldn't necessarily do the same program again)."
Alyson Slater Middlebury College
"I learned that I can make anywhere my home. I really felt connected to the culture and to the city. It was incredibly worthwhile. "

"I feel like the program prepared me extremely well for doing future research in conservation biology. Not simply from academic knowledge, but having the experience of what it's like to spend months doing field research, of what it takes to prepare an expedition, of field research methods, etc."
A student Middlebury College
"I learnt to cook and most of all I feel very confident in my Italian."
A student Middlebury College

"Because I had much free time outside of the architecture school, I got to work out, go to activities/events I was interested in, get to know people, and explore Ireland a lot. The course load was not too heavy, so my time at UCD feels more like a gap semester than college. I really appreciate the chance to escape the "big bubble..."
Ke Yu Middlebury College
"I gained a lot of insight about myself, independence, a sense of calm, what I care about and what is not worth caring about, my role as an American citizen in the global world, the pros and cons of development; I expanded my view of the world and what is important to its continued success; what success means and is is so depende..."

"I was definitely worthwhile. I would not be able to spend that much time abroad, especially in a place as far as New Zealand, at another point in my life, so I was really grateful to be able to do that. "
A student Middlebury College
"I learned that I love Medieval literature (and that I hate Quorn). It also gave me the space to figure out a few things about my life and my future that I don't think I would have (or at least not in the same time frame) if I hadn't gone"
A student Middlebury College
"Everything. Yes worth the money"

"I learned a lot about my resiliency, which made it very worthwhile."
A student Middlebury College
"It is hard to qualify what I learned in four months abroad in just a few lines, especially having just gotten back. I think my answer to this question will develop as I reintegrate. Academically, I learned a great deal about the historical and present political context of Chile, the education system, and the society as a whole. ..."

"Yes it was definitely worthwhile. I loved being able to experience a new culture. Although the U.K. is similar to the US it is by no means the same. Even being able to experience living in the city was amazing and different."
A student Middlebury College
