"The AIFS program was extremely helpful in allowing me to dive into Spanish culture. They provided all of us students with great information about the food, language, places to go, sites to see, and anything else we could think of while living in Granada. "

"It led me to study abroad two more times. Once in London, England and once in Paris, France (week long programs, that I also wish were longer!) I cannot get enough of travel and I love to experience the diversity of the people, food, cultures, art etc. in the world! It just opens your eyes to how beautiful this place is! "

"Before coming to Australia, I never traveled outside of the U.S., let alone ever been on a plane. Coming here and being away from my family and my comfort zone, I learned a lot about myself. I know I can be independent and navigate through cities on my own. I feel more confident with my future aspiration of becoming a teacher ..."

"My experience was defiantly worthwhile. People stereotype Muslims and Middle Eastern countries because of 9/11, but from meeting the people and living in Jordan - it was nothing like the media portrays it. Jordanian's are very nice and welcoming - they love teaching Arabic and learning English! I traveled to other countries whil..."

"I learned so many things about myself and other people. I learned how to make friends when you don't know anyone, and live and get along with all different types of people. It was nice to know that if one day I have to move to a brand new city I will survive."
A student Marywood University
"It was the most worthwhile experience I have ever had. I am already looking into going abroad again this coming year."
Andrea D Marywood University
"I learned how to deal with a lot of struggles on my own. I dealt with some of the scariest things on the other side of the planet, and there was no way my parents could just pop over and help me. It taught me how to adjust to a completely foreign environment with new people, things, and ideas. I learned how to learn from them an..."

"One of the biggest things I learned from this experience is that I am capable of traveling Europe, I am capable of leaving home for a period of time, I am capable of living on my own (albeit not well, but still I am capable!), and I am capable of making new friends in a different country. If nothing else, this experience was wor..."
