CIEE is a program provider offering 415 abroad programs. Programs offered include Study Abroad, Internship, Intensive Language, Gap Year, and Online Program abroad programs in 32 countries such as France, Japan, Ireland, and Czech Republic.
CIEE is a nonprofit study abroad and intercultural exchange organization that transforms lives and builds bridges between individuals and nations by sponsoring a wide variety of opportunities for the exchange of ideas and experiences. CIEE helps people develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world, and contributes to a more peaceful global community by humanizing international relations.
CIEE partners with overseas universities to provide direct matriculation options, creates CIEE courses to add to the offerings, and staffs each Study Center with CIEE-employed Resident Staff who provide co-curricular activities and around-the-clock student services. We offer quality academics with opportunities for cultural engagement such as excursions, homestays, volunteer opportunities, and internships to provide the highest quality study abroad experiences.

"The experience was an eye opener for so many aspects of my life. I ended up questioning a lot of the things I saw and also a lot of things that I did. Moving outside of the American bubble into a country that is unlike it in so many ways is like an out of body experience. "
A student Brandeis University
"Studying abroad is a real eye-opener. Learning to live by yourself in a country where English is not spoken a lot forces you to develop your Spanish speaking skills. On top of this, learning about the Spanish culture and being a worldly individual makes you more perceptive to learning about new cultures when you travel to other ..."

"I enjoyed being abroad but, for whatever reason, did not really grow to love Seville. I definitely gained skills about being independent and self-sufficient, which are incredibly valuable. "This experience was mainly about self-reflection for me. I learned a lot about what i need to improve, political views, filosophical views. I learned that i need to be more critical about certain things. Students im Brazil seem to be more opinionated and critical of global issues more so that most of the american students i've m..."

"The best things that I got out of my study abroad experience had little or nothing to do with my classes or my program. The best relationships I made were with other people in the city who I met through walking around, and doing things I loved to do. "
A student Brandeis University
"I learned how to be independent. I learned how to get out of my comfort zone and experience a whole new lifestyle. I learned how to have dinner way too late. I made friends from all over the world. But what I truly learned is that I want to spend as much time as possible, in my life, traveling."
Kaity D University of Arkansas - Fayetteville
"I learned a lot about myself, being alone in a foreign country. It was a big growth experience. I don't regret it."
A student Wellesley College
"I could write a book about what I learned, so I won't get into the huge details but learned an immense amount of language, culture, travel, etc. Yes, it was worthwhile."
Andrew G Bentley University
