Founded in 1994, the “University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt” – hereafter named FH Wiener Neustadt – rendered pioneer work in higher education and became the first University of Applied Sciences in Austria. Since its origination the university offers students a well founded and diverse education with international focus, with emphasis on personal skills and the possibility of specialization studies. The highest priority for us has always been to impart to students the crucial and necessary know-how for a career in a global business world.

It currently offers approximately 3.200 study places in the areas of Business, Engineering, Health, Security and Sport at the Campuses Wiener Neustadt, Wieselburg, Tulln and Rudolfinerhaus Wien. The University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt (FHWN) is also an important innovation partner for Business and Engineering. By means of applied research and development as well as technology and knowledge transfer it is in constant dialogue with the business world. More than 800 administration and lecturer staff ensure a modern and efficient education system in  Wiener Neustadt, Wieselburg, Tulln und Rudolfinerhaus Wien.
