What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
i think that my study abroad program provided me with the experience and cultural awareness that i will never be able to know unless i am physically there. it did change my future plan. Since i like Shanghai so much, i am considering find a job or work in China after i graduate.

I think that the on-site administrator should be more organized in terms of assisting the students adjusting to the environment.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

YangPu District, Tonghe International student dorm. it is apartment style housing with either 3 bedroom sharing 2 bathroom or two bedroom with one bathroom. also had a kitchen and living room, it is furnish and had AC. <br /><br />

* Food:

there are many variety of food around the apartment to choose from.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? about 700 yuan a week.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? getting to places are quite cheap however, TAXI to the city center might cost up to 50 yuan one way.

Yes, i think that through this program my Chinese speaking and writing skills had shown improvement.
