I learned a lot about the Chinese culture on this trip. I knew next to nothing beforehand and I was glad I got to learn about it in a firsthand experience. I gained a better ability to sympathize and understand people of different cultures. I think it's very easy to dismiss another person's action as weird or unusual, but when you look into why they act that way, it becomes much less strange. I've also gained a larger sense of adventure, and I know I'd like to travel abroad again! - University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh View Entire Review

I learned how developed and impressive the Chinese culture is. They perform most everything to capacity, and then some. The scale of everything over there is beyond my imagination. I also learned the power of language, especially one spoken almost exclusively in a country of over 1 billion people. - University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh View Entire Review
