Past Review Loved It!
It was not entirely expected, because I assumed this would be the type of program where my whole day will be planned out for me. This was not the case at all, and was a pleasant surprise for me, if a little alarming at first. However, having this freedom and balance between Summit assigned programs and my own activities that I... - Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University / Virginia Tech View Entire Review

I drastically improved my knowledge of European culture and history. I did not fully understand how isolationist America was until I came here and learned about crisis that I did not even know existed. I learned a lot about how to be an independent traveler abroad. The trip was what you made it and if you were independent and made your own plans, you had a lot of fun. If you didn't know how to travel and make plans, you would sit in your room. There were students that did not see a lot on the trip because they didn't know how ... - Ohio State University - Columbus View Entire Review
I learned that basically people are the same everywhere, everyone wants to feel accepted and respected, you just express this differently in each culture, each place just comes with its own quirks! If you have any way to study abroad you should, it's one of the best things I did for myself personally and professionally! You learn... - Florida Gulf Coast University View Entire Review

About

Summit Study Abroad programs are a little different than most study abroad programs -- because traveling is an integral part of the experience.  Students travel with professors across a region, which might be Europe in our Summer programs, or Latin America during our Winter programs.  During this time, students take courses on-campus, and also while traveling, and they have a chance to visit companies and organizations, with the purpose of integrating those experiences back in to the classroom.

We travel to learn (and we learn while we are traveling).
We hope you will join us!
