SAI invites students to immerse themselves in creativity in Milan!
SAI partners with the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA), an elite design school which subscribes to the philosophy that creativity is best cultivated in an international atmosphere. NABA was founded in 1980 and is the only design school in Italy accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education. Instructors are world-renowned artists, professionals, and designers working in Milan and NABA’s teaching method stresses cultural, theoretical, and practical aspects of design.
SAI oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrollment, including application processing, course selection and credit, visa advising, housing, student health insurance, and transcripts. In addition, SAI provides comprehensive student services, from the moment of application, through the on-site experience, until students return home.
In addition to supporting students throughout their stay in Milan, SAI also coordinates a range of activities and excursions throughout the term, including a walking tour of the city, a visit to the Duomo rooftop, a wine tasting excursion, a visit to La Scala Opera House, a weekend excursion to Rome (semester only), and much more. SAI students in Milan experience the richness and history of Milan; from monuments dating from Roman times, to the city’s current status as the modern capital of Italian fashion.
