I had so much fun throughout my experience abroad. I was able to travel throughout Europe with ease, immerse myself in Dutch culture, make new friends, and learn many new things about European/Dutch culture, language, and history. I did not grow up in a city and have never lived in a city for a long period of time, so I really ... A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
It was worthwhile but it was very challenging emotionally. It is not easy to go abroad and I was shocked to find out how many students study abroad after my experience because the emotional challenge that comes with it is a hefty one. It is hard to make friends and feel comfortable but I believe it was worth it because I do feel... A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review

I was already an international student in the U.S. coming from Europe, so for me living in Amsterdam was actually much closer to my normal lifestyle. I loved the people I met that were also doing their Erasmus there and enjoyed the city to the fullest. I gained friendships and learnt to maximize my experiences by always doing th... I learned how to be self-sufficient, be independent, and more responsible. No one was looking after me or forcing me to work out or eat healthy. I also learned how to budget and travel cheaply. Jane Zhang - Mount Holyoke College View Entire Review

This is experience was an incredible way to try something new. I really pushed myself to explore things I had never done before. With the support there to catch me when I would fall and stumble, I was given the unique opportunity to do what I wanted without the fear of being on my own if I needed help. I made life-long friends, ... Cecilia Vorfeld - Johns Hopkins University View Entire Review

I learned a lot about different cultures around Europe, not just the Netherlands. Although I have been throughout Europe before this trip, having been able to take it all in within a short period of time was so beneficial as you see the subtle differences of each country. Now, oddly, I want to move to Europe for my Masters educa... Haoyan L - Brandeis University View Entire Review

As a student, I learned how to apply my coursework in an international context that allowed me to consider my academics as a whole instead of compartmentalized classes. I learned how to live alone! My home school has a meal plan that provided all my food. However, while studying abroad, you have to prepare all your own meals and just live alone. Also you're in a different timezone. It was worthwhile because it was the first taste of actual independence I've had A student - Ohio Wesleyan University View Entire Review
