Overall Experience
I have gained a new appreciation for other cultures and have learned a lot about how to travel and where during my study abroad experience. My academic interests remain the same, but in the future I hope to be able to travel to more places so that I can see other parts of the world and learn about a variety of cultures. - University of Arizona View Entire Review

My Italian skills improved. I met wonderful people who I still talk to. I fell in love with the city of Rome-it only increased my wander lust. It is always wonderful to experience a new culture and meet new people. - University of Georgia View Entire Review
I gained cultural knowledge about Rome that I otherwise couldn't have with a visit. I am giving more thought to other countries that I wouldn't have considered before. I just wish I didn't take the easy way out with the CEA program that is already affiliated with my home university. It would have been worth the extra paperwork t... - University of Arizona View Entire Review

My experience was definitely worthwhile. As I said above, it opened my eyes to an entirely new world and helped me grow as a person and become more independent. Studying abroad helps you see that the world is so much bigger than the small area you came from. Rome showed me how different culture in general could make people. I was the most skeptical about studying abroad. I didn't want to go. I always thought I knew.... Oh man was I wrong. This has been a life changing experience. I've met people I never thought I'd meet. I've seen things I thought I'd never see. I've had new experiences. I've had the best moments of my life. DEspite not having the study abroad experience I had wanted, I would still do it the same way not knowing, although if I knew I would change it. I'm glad I had the chance to get out there in the world and have the time to explore for more time than a two week vacation. I see the world in a much bigger picture and see how unique ... - Providence College View Entire Review
