I learned a lot about adaptability. It was my first time sharing a bedroom, living with more than one girl, and being in another country other than Canada and the U.S. I learned how to best adapt to the local culture as well. You believe that you will immediately be immersed in the language and culture once you arrive here, but ... nicole.summers.29 - Grand Valley State University View Entire Review

I have had a great time while in Rome. I had no idea what I was getting into when I got here, but CEA Rome was a small, American program that genuinely cared about our time and experience in Italy. I enjoyed the small classes, like at my home institution, with other American students, so we were all on the same page and not lost... Lauren M - Providence College View Entire Review

Living in Rome for four months is a chapter in my life that I won't ever forget! I enjoyed being able to experience the culture and people first hand: the best art and food truly do live here. If you are looking to do a lot of traveling, Rome is a great place to be! The FCO airport is an international center and it is easy to fi... A student - Providence College View Entire Review

First of all, Rome is in a perfect location for traveling all through europe, and every place we went seemed to be better than the last because everything was so new to our eyes. Italy offers the same diversity, every region we went was different than the last. I expanded and understood my faith, especially being in Rome while t... It was extremely worthwhile. I did not think I would ever get the chance to study abroad. I still cannot believe that I actually lived in Rome for 4 months and got to visit 8 countries and 8 different places in Italy. This whole experience was just so awesome. I definitely gained a better sense of direction and a more confid... A student - Providence College View Entire Review

It was definitely worthwhile, I enjoyed every minute of my abroad experience. You amaze yourself that you're able to live on your own in a foreign country without knowing the native language for months. Nick T - University of Arizona View Entire Review
Where do I begin? Rome itself is an education. The city is filled with history from the Roman Empire to modern day. Every corner is marked with an ancient ruin and it couples well with the modern Italian culture. The classes at CEA Rome were solid and not overly challenging. I learned quite a bit from the classes about Italy and... Zachary K - Providence College View Entire Review

I learned how the Italian culture lives, and how different it truly is. It was worthwhile both in that I gained knowledge in what Americans do better, while I also gained an appreciation for the things that we have in the United States. A student - Providence College View Entire Review

I learned a lot about the way other cultures live. It is very different from America and it is important to try to immerse yourself in the Italian culture as much as possible. You won't feel truly comfortable living in Italy unless you adapt to some of their customs. Other than living in Rome, I traveled with friends around Euro...
