I gained so much self confidence and can proudly say that I am much more outgoing than when I started my program. Seeing the world allowed me to open my eyes to many different things and I found a passion inside of me that I want to continue to see as much of the world as I can! Matea - Universidad de Salamanca / University of Salamanca View Entire Review
This experience taught me a lot about myself, who I am, what my purpose is, and what I want for my future. Most importantly, it taught me what makes me happy and how I can maintain that happiness. It was a worthwhile experience and if I could relive the whole thing over again, I would. Joseline Cano - Dominican University View Entire Review
Extremely worth it. It really encouraged me to meet new people and value the friendships that I made. Experiencing the different culture first hand really allowed me to gain a respect for everyone I met. Matea Manterola - Oklahoma State University - Stillwater View Entire Review
My experience abroad was completely worthwhile. My entire perspective on life changed. Now, I want to work in an international setting and with people from different cultures and backgrounds than me. Lisa - University of Dayton View Entire Review
I learned that everyone is living a different life. You cannot assume you know a person just by looking at them. I also learned that it's okay to miss out, although I missed my friends at home and wished I was doing the things they were, study abroad gave me the ability to step back and say "hey, yeah that's cool, but I'm in Spa... I learned so much about Spanish culture while in Salamanca. I learned about all the different foods they eat, and how the Spanish schedule is so different from other European countries and the US. I learned so much. I am confident to speak Spanish to anyone and I learned a lot about different cultures. I realized that I am able to be thrown into a foreign country knowing no one and I can come out with new best friends and some of the best times of my life. Haley F - University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa View Entire Review
I learned how to be completely open to new things. Being abroad doesn't always give you a "comfort" option, sometimes you just have to go with the flow. I appreciate every moment I spent abroad, and would do it again if I could. Amanda T - Augustana College View Entire Review
I gained tons of friends all over the world, in both the country I studied, the country I am from and other countries as well. I learned so much about different people and the different cultures and I also learned more about the European Union as a whole.
