"YES! Living in Paris taught me just how different another country's culture can be and how different definitely doesn't equal worse. I now have a strong desire to travel much more in my life, and am considering looking into work internationally once I complete my undergraduate degree."

"To be honest, Spain was much less academically rewarding and more rewarding in a personal sense- I learned about my strengths, weaknesses, came to terms with things that I need to work on, pushed myself, and changed my way of thinking to adapt to local culture. "

"I gained a stronger sense of independence. I also gained the confidence to know that I can meet new people and just join a new culture. I loved the English style of "reading around the subject" because it allowed me to pick which areas of the course I was most interested in and it held me accountable for my own work. "

A student Providence College
"I feel far more culturally aware and also loved the opportunity to study and live around pieces of art that I will spend my life writing about and examining. At the same time it was strange to see this historical city filled with clubs and a dedication to less than intellectual activities."
Rachel W Providence College
"It was definitely worthwhile. I learned a ton about culture, myself and just living slightly out of your comfort zone. Traveling most weekends gave me the opportunity to see many places I probably would have never otherwise seen. Academically it made me much more awake of European nations, cultures and how they view Americans. "

"It was a great experience, the only thing is that i wish that i could have taken classes that would have counted towards my major. Also though ireland is a lot of fun it is quite difficult to visit other countries because of the distance not only to the the country itself but you have to put on an extra 3 hours to get to the air..."
