Study Abroad Programs: Celtic Languages, Literature

Immerse yourself in the rich and fascinating world of Celtic languages and literature by studying abroad in a program that specializes in this subject. Through coursework and cultural immersion, you'll gain a deep understanding of the languages, literatures, and cultures of the Celtic peoples.

In your classes, you'll explore topics such as Celtic mythology, poetry, and prose, and study the grammar and vocabulary of one or more Celtic languages, such as Irish, Scottish Gaelic, or Welsh. You'll also learn about the history and culture of the Celtic regions where these languages are spoken, and gain insights into the contemporary issues facing these communities.

In addition to your coursework, you'll have the opportunity to engage in cultural activities such as attending traditional music sessions, visiting archaeological sites, and participating in local festivals. By immersing yourself in the language and culture of the Celtic peoples, you'll gain a unique perspective on their rich history and enduring traditions.
