Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Unbelievable! My teacher, Ms. Veronica Gomez, was incredible! She really took her time to make sure we were actually learning. She was personable and went at a very good pace. She made sure the whole class understood what was being taught and also did a great job of teaching us Spanish culture. I also have to mention Mr Luis Fernandez. Luis was incredible. He truly cared about each students experience. Often times, after long study sessions, I would see Luis on the streets with his family and he was so interested in how we were doing. He also did not speak English to us to help better our Spanish skills. He is a passionate leader and a model citizen. I will never forget his hard work and generosity. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I was able to learn a lot and have a little fun too. I bring up my Alicante experience at least once a day. It has also been a hot topic during interviews. Companies are interested in the trip and learning experience. I will never forget Alicante or the people there. I will never forget my wonderful and loving host mother or her family. It was one of the happiest times of my young adult life. Id do it again in a heartbeat. I just want to thank Luis Fernandez and the rest of the USAC team for there great efforts in establishing a great memory in my life!

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Unbelievable!! I was located downtown. In my case, it wasnt where I was it was who I was with. I became very close to my host mother Lola. I almost liked her more than my own mom. She was so caring and really did a unbelievable job of making me feel at home and comfortable. I never in a million years would have expected it to work out so wonderfully. I miss her and think of her and her family everyday.
