Universidad del Museo Social Argentino (UMSA) is a private Argentine institution of higher education founded in Buenos Aires city in the year 1956. For more than 55 years the University has been firmly committed to educate youth seeking a balance in scientific, technological and cultural approaches towards the social needs not only of the country but of today’s globalized world, as well as the search for truth and the common well-being, all founded on the institutional philosophy of its founding institution Museo Social Argentino.

At present, UMSA Universidad continues to be centered on teaching and research, with a wide variety of high quality education delivered by its five Schools:
• School of Modern Languages
• School of Law and Social Sciences
• School of Arts
• School of Economics
• School of Human Sciences

These Schools encompass more than 20 undergraduate and graduate degrees together with a variety of post-graduate studies in the fields of Economics, Law and Social Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, and Foreign languages, all of them accredited by CONEAU (National Commission of University Evaluation and Accreditation).

UMSA highly qualified faculty members contribute to the mission and goals of the university in the three areas of faculty work: instruction, scholarship and service. This work is framed by university and program accreditation standards and conducted with professionalism.

UMSA Study Abroad and Exchange program with an extensive list of national and international partners provides excellent opportunities for both incoming and outgoing students to internationalize their studies and establish professional and career opportunities.
