What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was an incredibly worthwhile experience. I gained a greater sense of independence and ease in social interactions. I also, of course, improved my Spanish level immensely and gained a greater understanding of the Spanish culture.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I had an intense workload and many academic resources by taking multiple classes at the host university (rather than program classes) and utilizing their libraries, professor tutoring sessions, etc. It is possible that other students had a less academically rigorous experience had they decided to take primarily program classes.

The staff is helpful, nice, smart, and incredibly supportive. I couldn't have asked for more!!!

Food is very cheap in Spain , but weekend trips to other countries can be expensive.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had known about the reimbursements that they were going to give us. I think many more people would be interested in this program if they knew about that.
