The Leuven Institute for Ireland in Europe is a non-profit NGO with a 30-year track record of providing high-quality, customised residential programmes for all sectors in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Strategically located at the heart of the European Union, the Leuven Institute draws on expertise from across Brussels, Benelux and the wider EU to produce bespoke residential programmes and events at its campus for the public, private, higher education and voluntary sectors in Ireland and Northern Ireland. 

Leuven is the hub for Centres of Irish Studies across Europe and the Institute enjoys a close working relationship with KU Leuven, one of the world's leading universities. The Leuven Centre for Irish Studies and the secretariat of the European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies are based on our campus. The Institute has offices in Dublin and Belfast to facilitate the development of programmes in collaboration with its clients. 

Additionally, as a premier multi-purpose residential conference centre, the Leuven Institute broadens its network of expertise through the provision of conferences and events for the private, public and voluntary sectors in Belgium.
