What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned to be self sufficient and smart with my money. Being alone with other students in a foreign country forces you to be mature about what you spend your time doing.

My international experience was unbelievable. I've travelled to many countries in the Middle East and Europe, but I had never worked abroad. Having this on my internship spiced up my resume and allowed me to get more internships. My next internship was with the United Nations.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 150
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Your costs go down exponentially if you cool it with the alcohol. My costs were fairly low because I didn't drink.
