What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My experience abroad was the greatest adventure of my life. I met so many new people and had learning experiences I would have never had had I not gone abroad. TEAN was an incredible program. The orientation they offer was the best week of my life. Having the orientation was a great opportunity to meet other students who would be studying in Australia and potential places to stay when traveling. The cultural events TEAN offers are a great way to see the culture. TEAN was an incredible program and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity and to have met so many incredible people.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I was extremely sick my first week in Australia. I was directed to a clinic that accepted walk in patients and went and was in and out in under 30 minutes. I ended up having to go back a couple other times throughout the semester and all the fees were covered by the over seas health care.

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

TEAN offered so many opportunities that I don't think I would have experienced had I gone through another program.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Eating out is super expensive and the portion size is small.
