What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
From my experience abroad I have become a more independent and mature individual. I have learned how to deal with language barriers and understand the Italian culture from their point of view. It was absolutely worthwhile and I will never forget my experience!

The first week in Italy I got very sick with a sore throat. The school program had a doctor personally come to my apartment in response to hearing about my illness. They were very responsive and helpful!
