November 11, 2018 Disappointed
I am resilient and even though I wanted to leave/ probably should have for, I didn't and survived! It was not really worthwhile though, would not redo. - University of San Francisco View Entire Review
choose your roommates well. of course i loved every bit. - Northwest Arkansas Community College View Entire Review
It was absolutely worthwhile. The new perspectives that I gained have challenged the way I view the world and I believe I am still changing from the experience as I have more time to reflect on what it has meant to me. - Saint Louis University View Entire Review
I gained a deeper knowledge for different parts of the world and various cultures. This was very worthwhile. - Spring Hill College View Entire Review
New friends, a global perspective, and several unforgettable experiences. Most definitely worthwhile. - University of San Francisco View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself and other cultures as well. It was the best experience of my life and definitely worthwhile. I was put out of my comfort zone many times and have learned from each time. - University of San Francisco View Entire Review
I learned that it's easier to make a friend and be outgoing when the two of you speak different languages. There's something really exciting about two people working so hard to understand each other. Plus you already have something in common- you're both uncomfortable. - The College of New Jersey View Entire Review
The SHC Italy Center was extremely worthwhile. I was able to make great lifetime friends, learn a culture and language, discover new skills that I learned, and gave me new perspectives on what I would like to do in the future. They also allowed me to have an internship that gave me professional skills that I'll use in the future... - Drake University View Entire Review
language skill, confidence - Brandeis University View Entire Review
being on my own somewhere new for the first time, knowledge of a different culture - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Studying abroad was the greatest decision I ever made. I met the best people, had so much fun, saw the world, and learned so much. I feel like I've become a better version of myself and I am so incredibly thankful I had this opportunity. - Illinois State University View Entire Review
Past Review Go To Rome
I wish I had gone to a school that integrated students into the community, instead of giving them America-in-Italy. Very few students getting their bachelors at JCU are Italian, so there isn't much opportunity to befriend locals. There are other, much better organized schools in Rome to study at. Pick a different one. - University of Iowa View Entire Review
Past Review Italy Inernship
I grew a lot as a person and became more responsible. It was worthwhile to push myself to do new things and try things that were scary. - Brigham Young University View Entire Review
I gained international exposure, but wished it would have been more immersive and had better administration. - Saint Louis University View Entire Review
Love of travel and new prespective on global issues - Spring Hill College View Entire Review
June 07, 2016 It Was Beautiful!
I learned to be more independent, responsible, and confident. I am not afraid to be adventurous now. I met the most kindest and beautiful people and saw, heard, tasted, and smelled the most beautiful things! It was a very cathartic experience that gave me time to explore my interests and to relax! - The College of New Jersey View Entire Review
Abroad was incredible and definitely worth while. My thing that I am going to try and bring back most with me is the simplistic lifestyle I lived in Europe. Before I always kept myself way to busy and never got to just take a minute and relax and that is something that I learned while in Italy. - Saint Louis University View Entire Review
I learned to enjoy every moment as it comes and to not stress about the not-so-great moments because there's nothing I can change about them. - Spring Hill College View Entire Review
I gained new friends and great experiences. I had never been to Italy,so exploring it with other people that were just as excited as me to be there was so worthwhile and memorable. - Utica College View Entire Review
A student studying abroad with Study Abroad Programs in Italy
100% worthwhile. I learned things I could not have experienced any other time in my life. I gained a new appreciation for just about everything in my life from doing laundry to communicating to strangers. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Learned to live in an international setting. The cultural differences and culture shocks were life long lessons - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned a lot more Italian language and the fact that I could go to any country in the world and make a life for myself if I needed to do so. I would definitely go to Sicily again! - Brandeis University View Entire Review
Literally the best experience of my entire life. I can't imagine choosing a better place or spending a semester with other people. We all met and became best friends instantly, including the professors. - Wartburg College View Entire Review
confidence. yes. - Illinois State University View Entire Review
I learned a new culture and language, tried new foods and the specialties of each town, met amazing people, saw extraordinary things - all of which I will never forget! Those 12 weeks were like living in a dream. If only it didn't have to come to an end :( - Brigham Young University View Entire Review
